National Farmers Market Week

Last Updated 8/5/2021

It’s National Farmers Market Week and local produce is in abundance! That means we all get to enjoy the best fruits and vegetables from our neighboring farms and farmers.

When we shop at local farmers market, we get the benefit of enjoying fresh, just picked, produce and we support our local economy. In addition to fruits and veggies, there are often fresh flowers, pies, jams and jellies, honey, and many other items for sale.

Downtown Statesville currently is home to two farmers markets. The Evening Farmers Market, located at Pecan Park (134 N. Center Street), is held Thursday evenings, April through October from 3:30 – ‘til. The Rotary Farmers Market is held at the corner of West Front Street and South Meeting Street on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7am-12pm, May through October.
