GG's Arts Frames Gifts Finds a New Location
On April 25, GG's Arts Frames Gifts was involved in the devastating fire that took 3 buildings and businesses out. GG's suffered a complete loss other than a few precious items that had been put away for customers. Gloria Hager didn't waste any time finding a new space to start over. She is so excited about her new location at 125 West Broad Street. They hope to announce a re-opening soon! The support of the community has been amazing to see. We all wish Gloria and Carol and the crew at GG's all the best! Statesville Strong!
AJ's Heavenly Discount to Reopen after Smoke and Water Damage
AJ's Heavenly Discounts located at 106 South Center Street was fortunate enough to escape the fire that took the neighboring buildings, but suffered a bit of smoke and water damage. Fortunately, they were able to salvage most of the contents and had no fire or structural damage. AJ's is hoping to reopen on Tuesday, May 9. Please stop in and say hello to Jammie and her crew as they have had a difficult time this past week.
Iredell Museums Celebrates 65 Years
Iredell Museums in partnership with the Statesville Historical Collection presents "Celebrating 65 Years of Iredell Museums: A Retrospective Presentation". Dawne Clark, a Statesville native will be speaking about the history of the Arts and Science Center on Museum Rd. and share about her experiences going there when she was a child. This event will take place at the Statesville Historical Collection located at 212 N. Center St and will be free and open to the public with a suggested $5-$10 donation
