Joe Bondi | Business Owner @ Red Buffalo Brewing Co. 

Joe came to North Carolina from Chicago, Illinois in 2014 to be with his brothers and get away from the cold. He fell in love with Statesville almost immediately. His original plan was to flip houses, but after the sale of his first house in Statesville, he decided to purchase a commercial property to renovate and rent it, but fate had other plans. He decided to build his own business around his passion for brewing and opened Red Buffalo Brewing Co. in 2018. He quickly became a staple of Downtown Statesville with his love of the community and the music scene. After Covid, Joe was determined to get that music going again, and his passion and energy has spilled out to encourage others to do the same. 

Joe joined the Board of Directors of Downtown Statesville Development Corporation in 2019 and  became an integral part of the team. He helped spearhead the Hops & Harmony Craft Brew Festival and brought his tasty craft brews to the Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 Concert Series. He is an active member of the Economic Vitality Committee and has previously served on the Promotions Committee as well. Joe is always on hand to give advice to new businesses opening downtown and played a huge part in getting the recent Social District passed.

Joe has also served on the boards for both the Statesville Convention & Visitor's Bureau and the Statesville Historical Collection.
