Road Closure: W Front Street Closed December 18, 2025 for Livery Building Demolition

W. Front Street from S. Center Street to S. Meeting Street will be closed on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. due to a scheduled building demolition. The closure is needed for the demolition of The Livery Building (120 W. Front Street), located behind the Vance Hotel parking lot.

Parking Impacts: A portion of the public parking lot at the corner of S. Meeting Street and W. Front Street will be closed during the week of December 15 in preparation for the demolition. This is the parking lot used for the Rotary Farmer’s Market.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, use alternate routes, and use caution in the area while work is underway. Thank you for your patience.
