Lineworker Appreciation Day
Each year, National Lineworker Appreciation Days (April 13th: Recognized by many electric cooperatives and officially in states like North Carolina as Lineworker Appreciation Day and April 18th: Frequently observed as National Lineman Appreciation Day to honor the profession) gives us the opportunity to recognize the dedicated individuals who help keep our community powered - rain or shine, day or night.
At Statesville Public Power, our lineworkers play a critical role in maintaining the reliable electric service that residents and businesses depend on every day. From repairing outages during severe weather to performing routine maintenance that keeps our system running safely and efficiently, their work is essential - and often happens behind the scenes.
Lineworkers face challenging conditions and put safety first while responding to emergencies at all hours. Their commitment, skill, and resilience ensure that power is restored quickly and that our community continues to function smoothly.
The City of Statesville is proud to honor these hardworking professionals and thank them for their dedication to serving our community.
Join us in showing appreciation for our lineworkers today and every day. Learn more about Statesville Public Power here.
