The wait is over! This Friday, Downtown Statesville officially kicks off the new season of the Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 Summer Concert Series. Get ready for an evening of live music, local food, and a vibrant community atmosphere right in the heart of the city.

We are starting the season strong with the sound of Appalachian rock from Big Daddy Love, with Lochlann Kilburn’s Celtic, Indie, and alternative rock setting the stage as our opening act.

We are thrilled to introduce the Maker’s Market this year! Hosted by The Local Collective, Maker's Market situated on green space provided by Broad Street United Methodist Church adjacent to the concert area, brings a curated selection of handmade arts and crafts to the concert experience. Be sure to browse the unique local booths while you enjoy the music.

Downtown Statesville Wine Walk Draws Strong Crowd Saturday

Downtown Statesville was buzzing with energy this past Saturday as locals and visitors turned out in large numbers for a successful spring Wine Walk.

Participants strolled through downtown shops and businesses, sampling a variety of wines while enjoying exclusive specials, live music, and a relaxed, social atmosphere. The event brought steady foot traffic throughout the afternoon and evening (despite the rain), creating a vibrant scene across the district. The Wine Walk continues to serve as a key event for supporting small businesses while giving attendees a fun and interactive way to explore downtown.

In addition to the wine tastings, guests enjoyed pairing opportunities, small bites, and pop-up experiences that added to the overall charm of the event. Welcoming downtown businesses and a lively crowd helped make this one of the more successful Wine Walks in recent memory.

Events like the Wine Walk highlight the growing appeal of Downtown Statesville as a destination for entertainment, shopping, and community connection.

With another successful event in the books, organizers and businesses alike are already looking ahead to future downtown events that continue to bring people together.

A special thank you to our sponsors and the many volunteers who make Wine Walk possible!
