Community Fun Day Brings Neighbors Together at Summit Village Community Center

The Statesville Police Department was proud to host a Community Fun Day at the Summit Village Community Center on July 9, 2026, bringing neighbors together for an afternoon of conversation, fellowship, and community connection.

Held at the Summit Village Community Center, the event welcomed residents of all ages while placing a special focus on serving and connecting with members of the senior community. Attendees enjoyed free food, music, games, and access to valuable community resources while spending time with SPD officers and fellow residents in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Community Fun Days are part of the Statesville Police Department's ongoing commitment to strengthening relationships, building trust, and creating opportunities for positive interactions between officers and the community. These events provide a chance to connect outside of emergency situations, answer questions, share resources, and simply enjoy time together.
