Spring Trash Bash 2026 Brings the Community Together for a Cleaner Statesville
Statesville showed up in a big way for this year’s Spring Trash Bash! On Saturday, April 25, 2026, more than 45 community members came together along Simonton Road near the Statesville Recreation Center with a shared goal - making a positive impact and helping keep our city clean and beautiful.
From the moment volunteers checked in, there was a strong sense of community pride and teamwork. Families, friends, City of Statesville staff, and individuals of all ages rolled up their sleeves and got to work, covering the area and removing litter that would have otherwise impacted our environment and local spaces. In just a few short hours, the difference was clear - thanks to the dedication and hard work of everyone involved.
Events like the Trash Bash are a great reminder of what can be accomplished when a community comes together. Every bag collected and every piece of litter removed helps protect our natural spaces and enhances the quality of life for all who live, work, and play in Statesville.
We are incredibly grateful to each and every volunteer who gave their time on Saturday. Your efforts truly make a difference, and your commitment to keeping Statesville beautiful does not go unnoticed.
Save the Date for our Fall Trash Bash on Saturday, September 26, 2026. More information and volunteer sign up coming soon as recreation.statesvillenc.net/trash-bash.
Thank you again to everyone who joined us - we look forward to seeing you at the next Trash Bash!
