The first thing was how accommodating they were about our dog. We were resigned to ordering something to-go, but they sat us on the patio and kindly gave our pup a bowl of ice water. That was a sweet touch. The service was top-notch. Their version of "bang bang shrimp" was warm & delicious. (See photo) The salmon was cooked beautifully and the grilled asparagus was perfect. On the other hand, the pimento cheese needs help, or some cook needs to put it out of its misery. We were expecting "Good Old Southern" pimento cheese dip/spread. It was neither Good, nor Southern ... Old perhaps - and we weren't sure if it was actually cheese or some "cheese-like substance." It could well have been shredded plastic pumpkins recycled from Halloweens gone by. Maybe it comes from some industrial supplier, but it's not worth ordering. Flavorless, not enough mayo, hardly any pimentos. Pass on this & spend your money on one of their other appetizers or dishes. Everything else was delicious.
