Non-alcoholic beverages and water can be purchased through our food vendors. Generally, there are 2 or 3 food trucks at each concert, one of which is generally a confectionary vendor. We try to select vendors whose menus differ from one another so that patrons have a variety of choices. Typical fair/festival type food is available. Selections vary by vendor. Most of our food and beverage vendors accept cash or card as a payment method. No personal checks are accepted.

Interested in being a vendor?

This is a concert and not a festival event. Therefore, vendors are limited to 2 food trucks, 1 confectionary vendor and perhaps 1 non-alcoholic beverage vendor. So that everyone has a chance we reserve the right to select vendors based on our audience and ensuring non-compete with other vendors and our downtown restaurants and bars. Click here to download and complete the vendor application to be considered for Friday After 5.

Are alcoholic beverages available?

Yes. While Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 is transitioning away from token sales as we test a new format, alcohol will still be available for purchase through an on-site vendor during the event. Guests can continue to enjoy the same experience with a simpler and more streamlined process. Any tokens from previous seasons will still be honored throughout the 2026 concert season, so attendees are welcome to use any remaining tokens they may still have. To purchase beer or wine, patrons should go to the ID Tent (located close to Kelly Street) to present proof of age (a valid picture ID from an authorized entity is required) to receive a wrist band.

BROAD STREET PARK & PLAYGROUND

For at least 75 years, the playground at Broad Street United Methodist Church has been the site for laughter and play for children. The new playground, designed and installed by Carolina Parks and Play playground specialists, was made possible through a generous bequest from Henry and Betty Jean Britt along with memorial money from Broad Street members. When people from the church and community come to Broad Street Park and Playground, they will find equipment for children with a full range of physical abilities and those of special needs. Broad Street Park and Playground is open to the public as a community playground, and we are thankful that families attending the FA5 concerts can utilize this amazing space.
