Wesley Davidson | First Flight Bikes

Wesley Davidson is the current Chairman of the DSDC Board of Directors. He has been on the Board of Directors for approximately 4 years, but started out a bit before on the Promotion Committee.

"I am the Co-Owner of First Flight Bikes in Downtown Statesville. As a matter of fact, I just celebrated my 25th anniversary at First Flight this month.  I am one of the lucky folks that get to do my passion for a living. I love creating opportunities for people to ride a bicycle.  The best part about being part of Downtown Statesville and DSDC is having a front row seat to the amazing transformation of Downtown over the years and what it has done for the community.

I am a 41 year lifelong resident of Statesville and enjoy my time with my wife, Savannah, and dogs, Pony Boy (16) and Izzy (9). I am a local through and through as a West Iredell High graduate and having earned an Associate Degree in Computer Programming from Mitchell.

My goal for being on the DSDC Board of Directors is to bring back 'Weekend in the Village.' ;)"
