Today, Downtown on Tap on WAME Radio 🎙️ we were joined by special guests Suzanne Wallace, Director of the Small Business Center at Mitchell Community College, and Tanisha Schoolfield, DSDC Board Member and owner of Creations by TYS. We talked about the incredible impact of the PowerUp Iredell program and celebrated both Creations by TYS and Disco Dolphin, two downtown businesses recently recognized with Impact Awards through the program. PowerUp Iredell provides business owners with 8 weeks of expert business training, one-on-one professional counseling, and the opportunity to pitch for additional financial support through the Impact Awards. It was a great conversation about entrepreneurship, supporting small businesses, and the exciting growth happening throughout Downtown Statesville.
